We want to be there to support every person and family in the local area when they need it most. But we can only continue to provide free end of life home care with your help.
There are so many ways to get involved. Whether you have a fundraising idea, would like to come to one of our events, become a corporate partner or join our fundraising support group we would love to hear from you.
Ways to fundraise
- Lunch for Lawrence – host your own lunch or coffee morning (we can provide fundraising packs)
- Cake sale
- Quiz, bingo, darts or racing night
- Run a marathon
- Take part in a sponsored cycle ride, family walk, mud run or triathlon
Please think of the Lawrence Home Nursing Team. We can help you create your own fundraising page and supply all the relevant information and literature to help you plan your event.
We always need help at our fundraising events and would love to hear from you. Pease email us.

Trusts and Foundations
Funding from trusts and foundations is a vital source of income for the Lawrence Home Nursing Team.
With demand for nursing care only likely to increase from neighbouring GP practices and with further cooperation with local hospitals, the Lawrence Home Nursing Team is expecting a significant increase in nursing hours which will result in a substantial increase in expenditure.
As nursing costs contribute to over 90% of our expenditure, grants from trusts and foundations (large and small) greatly benefit the team. Not only do they help us to secure our finances in the short term but grants also allow time for income to match increased expenditure in the long-term, as the nurses continue to nurse more patients at home.
We use funds from trusts and foundations for specific purposes and projects, and we’re often running a number of projects for which we must continually search for support. If you know of a trust or foundation who might be able to support us, please email us, and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
