A fun night of fundraising was had by all at the Theatre, Chipping Norton on Thursday, 20th April.

Our Honorary President, Graeme Garden OBE, posed the questions to the celebrated actor of film, stage, and television, Miriam Margolyes CBE.

Graeme controlled the night beautifully with flair and magical wit, Miriam responded magnificently by recounting fabulous stories from her school days at Oxford High School, and her turbulent times with certain members of the Cambridge Footlights, before regaling us with stories from her acting and presenting career of the last 50 + years.
Her character studies of Dickens’ women were just fantastic.  She also shared many golden moments from her autobiography “This Much is True”, out now in paperback!

Miriam and Graeme richly deserved their standing ovation at the end of the night.
